Hi everyone! A little about me. My husband and I started swinging several years ago and actually got into a polyamorous relationship unintenionally. We met a couple and things clicked with us all and we were together for almost 3yrs. Of course over time we grew closer to the other couple and just followed along with what was working and let it flow. After that relationship ended I felt that I was really poly before I would have said no way! But loving another person doesn't mean it took away the love and feelings I had for my husband and vice versa. I see that it can work and work well. Of course like all relationships it comes with it's own set of challenges and issues. Even though I am not in a relationship as of now with another man I feel that I could be when the time is right again and I meet that person I click with.

Is anyone else here in a poly relationship?

We haven't had a poly relationship but are curious about it. Deb needs someone she can bond with and explore her fantasies with and of course I don't mind having another girl to play with. We would like to try and build a steady relationship out of it instead of just a 1 time NSA...

We were in a closed quad for almost 3yrs. Didn't go into as poly but swingers. Long complicated story about the unfolding but we never all played together it was couple/couple. It was great we would have date nights twice a week and one of them all 4 of us hung out for a while and had dinner together. It was a real realtionship but not one I had ever had before being monogamous. I miss it.

We're kind of in the same boat as Dave N Deb. Haven't been in any sort of Poly relationship as a couple. But she and I have both been in Three-somes during previous relationships. Her and I have had long discussions about the possibility of a third female member being a long-term part of our relationship. We would like to have one, but it's really hard finding another woman with the same open-mindedness as we have.

PolyWife, I am jealous of what you had. I have spent many of dreams fantasizing about a relationship like that. I never thought it was possible, though. I never thought I could possibly meet the right combination of people for it to fall into place

Funny enough jaykp54 I didn't think I would be in that type of relationship either until it happened and I am a research junkie so there are lots of others out there in a Polyamorous relationship and other types of non-monogmony relationship. Very little if any in the way of support here though. It takes time to find the right people but they are out there.
